Results after the war

The Northern states, and the Southern States, were reunited, and
the South was not allowed to secede.
The South was placed under military rule, and had to reapply to join the Union.
· Slavery was ended. Even though slavery was not ended until the installment of the
13th amendment, all slaves were set free upon the end of the War.
Both the North and the Souh set back upon rebuilding America.
