1.Percussion rifle-musket: This was the standard weapon in the Civil War. The U.S. government produced about a million of these during the war.
2.Enfield rifle: This British rifle was largely imported to both sides. The rifle was popular because it was well made and accurate.
3.Cook carbine: This gun was manufactured by the Cook firm in New Orleans from 1861 to 1862, before the threat of Union troops forced them to leave and settle in Athens, Georgia.
4.Colt Model 1860 Army revolver: Because of its reliability, this six-shot revolver became the Union’s primary handgun.
5.Confederate bowie knife- This was a large knife (around a foot long) with a chipped point. These were mostly popular with the Confederates.
6.Sharps rifle: These were accurate, quick-loading rifles, and the favorite of Union sharpshooters
